Emptying Space Is Good For The Soul

Dear Friends,

Oh Lord I am at a blank….so much to say but not much to say. Do you know what I mean? This month I felt like skipping my newsletter, since I was a bit overloaded by all the busyness in my world. However, my guidance told me to go ahead and write it, although I had nothing in mind to share. Do you ever feel like you just need to shut down? Empty out the clutter of doing and just sit in quiet and feel the luxury of rejuvenation. For us overachievers not an easy task. I have recently emptied out things in my life that have been cluttering my mind. Of course, this was no easy task as I needed some loving reminding and good coaching to do this. So, I am wondering if you have some mental clutter to let go of? It’s not half bad once you make the decision. How can I really absorb and receive some good stuff if I don’t have enough mental and energetic space? It feels darn good to have more internal quiet. Less to do’s and clutter, yep feels darn good. My challenge to you is to make a list of what you are focusing your attention on and if you are feeling clouded and foggy. Perhaps classes, obligations, and really check in to see if you have too much going on. Choose to keep what is serving you most and certainly take the time you need deciding. Trust that you won’t be losing something valuable, instead gaining something needed. If you need some support making the decision drop me a line, I would be happy to share. I do have some extra inspiration to share with you. One of my mentor’s Jennifer Grace presented a TED talk “Why Mindfulness Should Be Just as Important as Math in Our School’s”. This talk is so full of Love and Hope and part of a mission that I share working with teens and kids. I hope you enjoy it. It embodies the work and theme of our upcoming Mother/Daughter Retreat.
